Naples, July 18, 2024 – A-Zeta, an independent group leading in data intelligence and specializing in credit management and recovery, has achieved gender equality certification from Dasa-Rägister S.p.A., in accordance with UNI/PdR 125:2022 standard. This milestone makes A-Zeta one of the first Italian operators in the sector to receive this recognition.

The certification, valid for three years and subject to annual monitoring, assesses company culture, strategy, pay equity, and human resources governance in relation to gender. Currently, 41% of A-Zeta’s approximately 200 employees are women, with 20% of them in leadership roles.

A-Zeta’s commitment to gender equality

The certification is the result of a thorough evaluation of A-Zeta’s measures to ensure gender equality, including the provision of investigative intelligence services, infoproviding, insurance fraud prevention, credit servicing, credit management and recovery, payment plan management, and legal credit recovery.

CEO’s statement

“We have always focused on the human aspect, both of our staff and our clients. Creating a balanced, inclusive, and fair professional environment helps everyone perform their job with more passion and efficiency,” explains Carmine Evangelista, CEO of A-Zeta Group. “Achieving gender equality certification is another step in enhancing our human capital, reflecting the fundamental values and principles on which our Group has based its growth over the years.”

Concrete initiatives and future goals

A-Zeta’s initiatives to promote gender equality include the corporate welfare plan, smart working, and various employee conventions. The Group’s future goals include increasing female representation to 45%, creating career management and bonus benefit plans, implementing objective criteria for award management, and specific training on preventing workplace harassment.

Certifications and commitment to sustainable development

With the achievement of the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification, A-Zeta now holds a total of 11 corporate certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 37001, SA 8000, ISO 18295, and ISO 14064. This commitment demonstrates A-Zeta’s dedication to sustainable and inclusive practices.

Focus: gender equality in Italy

Gender equality certification has seen rapid growth in Italy, becoming a fundamental tool for developing social policies. In 2023, over 1,800 companies obtained this certification, surpassing the target of 800 set by the PNRR by 2026. Certified sites in Italy have risen to 7,928, with an additional 460 foreign sites.
