The accident happened yesterday in a building located in the outskirts of the city. According to initial reports, while the mother was busy with household chores, the child managed to climb onto an air conditioner positioned near the balcony railing. Unfortunately, the child leaned too far and lost his balance, falling 14 meters.
The rescue and hospital transport
The fall ended in the building’s inner courtyard. Immediately rescued, the child was taken in critical condition to the San Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia. Despite the doctors’ efforts and an emergency surgical intervention, the injuries sustained by the child proved to be fatal.
