Confirmation of the sentence

There will be no new trial in Brescia for Olindo Romano and Rosa Bazzi, the couple definitively convicted for the Erba massacre. On December 11, 2006, this tragedy caused the death of four people, including a two-year-old child.

Decision of the court of appeal

The judges of the Court of Appeal of Brescia declared the requests for revision of the sentence inadmissible. These requests were submitted by the couple themselves and the deputy public prosecutor of Milan, Bruno Tarfusser.

Life sentence remains

Olindo Romano and Rosa Bazzi remain in prison, sentenced to life imprisonment for the crimes committed. The sentence has been confirmed, and there will be no further trials.
